Android 13 QPR3 Beta 1 Kini Dirilis di Pixel

Google kini telah resmi merilis Android 13 QPR3 Beta 1 yang telah mereka rilis secara resmi di Pixel Phone, pembaruan yang satu ini memang membawa dukungan perbaikan dan juga menghadirkan performa yang diklaim jauh lebih stabil, Kamis (16/03).

Google telah siap merilis Android 13 QPR3 Beta 1 di beberapa seri ponsel Android, di mana untuk pertama kalinya seri Pixel Phone mendapatkan dukungan pembaruan perdana dari versi terbaru ini. Rasanya memang tak heran, mengingat Pixel merupakan ponsel yang 100% dikembangkan dengan sistem Android dan kostumasi Android, sehingga mendapatkan dukungan pembaruan pertama.

Android 13 QPR3 Beta 1 sendiri akan dirilis secara global untuk semua konsumennya terhitung mulai Juni 2023 nanti, Google juga menambahkan bahwa mereka tak akan merilis versi stabil sebelum merilis versi Android 13 QPR2 untuk Beta 14.

“Unlike developer previews and betas for unreleased versions of Android, these builds are suitable for general use. However, please review any known issues that are listed on this page.”

Android 13 QPR3 Beta 1 sendiri kemungkinan akan didapatkan oleh seri ponsel di luar Pixel, namun hanya mereka yang sebelumnya telah masuk ke dalam Beta Program dari Google.

“If you’re participating in QPR3 beta, you will automatically receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to Android 14 Beta 1 when it becomes available. No separate program opt-in is required. We’ll provide more information as we get closer to the Android 14 beta release.”

Melalui Android Beta Feedback, kami mendapatkan sejumlah informasi mengenai perbaikan apa saja yang diberikan oleh pembaruan ini di Pixel Phone. Berikut daftarnya:

• Fixed an issue where the clock text on the lockscreen was the wrong color.
• Fixed an issue where Bluetooth audio wasn’t working on some devices.
• Fixed an issue where the fingerprint icon that is normally displayed on the screen to indicate the position of the fingerprint sensor erroneously changed to an exclamation point (!).
• Fixed an issue where live wallpapers could not be selected or used.
• Fixed an issue where widgets, app icon positions, and other configurable options on the home screen were reset after installing an OTA update.
• Fixed an issue that caused a device to be unenrolled from Face Unlock after installing an OTA update.

Google juga memberikan bocoran mengenai isu apa saja yang saat ini tengah hadir di Pixel Phone, berikut diantaranya:

• If the user tries to open the camera by pressing the power button twice, the camera displays a black screen instead.
• In some cases when a work profile is switched on or off, the device reboots instead.
• The list of Recent apps sometimes becomes unresponsive if the screen orientation is changed while the list is open.
