Google Bard adalah sebuah AI yang dikembangkan oleh Google, perilisannya sendiri memang baru masuk ke versi Beta namun sekarang baru dirilis di beberapa negara bagian di Eropa. Google melaporkan bahwa Bard bahkan telah memiliki 40 Bahasa berbeda di sistem mereka.
AI interaktif Bard memang lebih lamban dari yang kita kira, kompetitor terbesar mereka adalah ChatGPT yang mana kini digunakan di Bing Chat dari Microsoft. Perilisan Bard sendiri telah dirilis sejak beberapa bulan di 2023 ini, namun pengembangannya masih terus berjalan.
Di Eropa mereka baru saja merilis 40 bahasa berbeda yang mencakup wilayah tersebut, sedang di Asia seperti Indonesia sudah bisa mengakses namun belum sempurna. Saat ini Bard tersedia di 230 negara berbeda, di mana termasuk Eropa dan Brazil.
Google’s initial launch of Bard, its very own “AI” chatbot based on large language models, felt very much like an improvised response to all the traction that ChatGPT was getting in the media – complete with Google I/O becoming basically a ridiculous attempt to steal back some of the spotlight.
Well, a few months have passed, and Bard is now maturing. Slowly, but surely, more features are being added, which should make it more useful than it’s ever been (not that that’s saying much, but still). The company today unveiled Bard’s “July update” (thus strongly implying it will get monthly updates from now on), but before we get into what’s new we should talk about availability.
Bard is now finally accessible across Europe, and it’s also live in Brazil. Thus, you can use it in over 230 countries and territories worldwide, a full list of which can be found here. But perhaps that’s not the most impressive feat. The fact that you can talk to Bard in more than 40 languages could be. The list is on the same page as the countries.
