Microsoft Rilis Pembaruan Mingguan Insider Canary

Bagi kamu yang menggunakan versi Windows 11 Insider Canary, minggu ini akhirnya Microsoft merilis pembaruan mingguan yang seharusnya memang dirilis secara rutin. Kali ini pengguna Canary mendapatkan gilirannya.

Seperti biasa, Build OS yang satu ini memberikan versi baru yaitu masuk ke versi 25915 . Lantas perubahan apa yang mereka hadirkan di versi ini? Nah salah satu hal yang penting ialah peringatan yang sebelumnya dirilis oleh Microsoft.

Kemarin kami sempat merilis berita mengenai layanan Mail & Calendar yang akan dialihkan sepenuhnya ke Microsoft Outlook, ternyata di versi Canary ini pengguna Windows 11 sudah dialihkan sepenuhnya dari Mail & Calendar ke Outlook.

Meskipun begitu layanan Mail & Calendar sendiri hingga saat ini memang masih bisa diunduh melalui Microsoft Store, namun dipastikan pada tahun 2024 nanti akan berhenti beroperasi dan dialihkan sepenuhnya ke Outlook.

“Beginning in 2024, new Windows 11 devices will be shipped with the new Outlook for Windows as the default mailbox application free for all to use. The Mail and Calendar applications will continue to be available via download in the Microsoft Store through the end of 2024. On existing devices, users can switch to the new Outlook for Windows from a toggle in the Mail and Calendar applications. You can see more information about accessing the People app here.”

Windows 11 Canary juga mendapatkan sejumlah perbaikan yang penting untuk diketahui, di mana sejumlah perbaikan ini meliputi:

• We have improved the refresh rate logic to allow different refresh rates on different monitors, depending on the refresh rate for each monitor and content shown on the screen. This will help most with refresh rate-dependent multitasking, like playing a game and watching a video at the same time.
• While a Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR) is selected and Battery Saver is also enabled, Windows will remain at the lower refresh rate and not switch to the higher rate until after Battery Saver is disabled.
• The issue that resulted in some Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel on ASUS devices or PCs with ASUS motherboards has been resolved and these Insiders should receive this flight.
• Ethernet-connected devices will no longer lose network connectivity after updating to this build.
