Samsung baru-baru ini merilis Flagship Display terbaru mereka melalui Odyssey Neo G9 yang akan mereka rilis di tahun 2023 ini. Beberapa informasi mulai dibocorkan mulai dari ukuran hingga Refresh Rate yang mampu ditampilkan Odyssey Neo G9, Kamis (24/08).
Odyssey Neo G9 akan memiliki dimensi hingga 57 Inci dengan model Curved Display atau melengkung, kemampuannya mampu menampilkan tampilan Ultra Wide dengan kecerahan dan bahkan Refresh Rate yang super tinggi. Samsung menyatakan bahwa Odyssey Neo G9 mampu menampilkan hingga 240Hz.
Untuk resolusi maksimalnya mampu menampilkan hingga 7680×2160 dengan rasio 32:9. Dengan resolusi dan bahkan model yang mampu menampilkan tampilan yang lebih luas, tentunya menjadikan Odyssey Neo G9 sebagai salah satu Gaming Monitor yang perlu untuk diperhitungkan.
The Odyssey Neo G9 57″ or G95NC has a VA-type LCD panel with a resolution of 7680 x 2160 and a 1000R curvature. This 32:9 aspect ratio display is equivalent to having two 16:9 3840 x 2160 panels side by side. The 57-inch size is a factor of the ultra-wide aspect ratio and obviously not comparable with displays with other aspect ratios.
What’s most interesting is that the monitor supports this massive resolution with an equally incredible 240Hz refresh rate. That is roughly four billion pixels being refreshed every second. To power this insane resolution and refresh rate combination, the G95NC comes with a combination of DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1.
Samsung doesn’t specify the exact bandwidth of these connectors but it doesn’t really matter as there isn’t a connector out yet that natively supports that much data transfer (over 100Gbps) without Display Stream Compression, which the monitor does support.
While the G95NC does not have a more modern OLED panel, it does feature Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology with mini-LED backlighting, 2392 local dimming zones, and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. The panel is also rated at a minimum 1ms response time (GTG) and has a matte coating.
Sementara itu, perilisannya sendiri akan dirilis pada bulan Oktober di pasaran US dengan harga kurang lebih senilai $2500 USD atau setara dengan 38 Juta Rupiah.
